Well, I'm not a linguist, but as I grow up in Iran, I know Farsi(the official language of Iran), just like my mother tongue, Kurdi(as we call it so). Then I can see lots of similarities between Kurdi and Farsi, but despite this similarities if a Kurd person live whole his/her life among Fars people you can easily understand that he/she is of Kurdish origin, because he/she tries to use Farsi words in sentences which is structurally Kurdi.
