Deutsch: „In Silber (Weiß) eine grüne Linde, belegt mit einem schrägrechten vierlätzigen roten Turnierkragen.“ Das Wappen wurde am 3. Oktober 1966 durch den Innenminister des Landes NRW genehmigt und am 15. September 1975 nach der kommunalen Neugliederung bestätigt. Die Linde soll daran erinnern, dass es sich bei Senden um einen alten Gerichtsort handelt; mit ihr wird gleichzeitig auf das Siegel eines Sendener Frei- und Gografen aus dem Jahre 1652 zurückgegriffen, das einen Baum zeigt. Der Turnierkragen ist dem Siegel der Herren von Senden, genannt Benekamp, entnommen. Rot und Silber sind die Farben des Geschlechts von Droste, das seit über 500 Jahren auf Haus Senden sitzt.
English: „Argent, a tilia tree vert, above a transversal bend with four point labels gules.“

The arms were granted in 1966 and were newly devised as there were no old seals or arms known for the town. The tree is a symbol of the historical court that was held in Senden. In Germanic times the courts were always held under a large oak tree. The colours are derived from the arms of the 17th century family Von Droste von Senden, who originated from the village.

The bend is derived from the arms of the Lords of Senden from the Benekamp family.
